Workshop

About the Workshop

On April 6 2018, the lives of many Saskatchewan residents and those who loved them changed forever when a truck collided with the Humboldt Broncos' bus as the team was on its way to a game.

Most of the media coverage focused on the people who had been on the bus. A donor who was following the story became concerned about the mental health of others who had been affected: the first responders who arrived on the scene, the medical staff who had traveled from across the province, the counselors, the clergy and chaplains, the funeral home staff, the accident investigators, and others.

This workshop has been made possible through her generous gift to ICHM-SK.

You are welcome to participate, whether you yourself were affected by the Broncos crash, directly or indirectly – or whether you have encountered trauma through your work or in your life.

The workshop will be held at Queen's House & Retreat Centre, which is located along the banks of the South Saskatchewan River in the Exhibition neighbourhood of Saskatoon.
